The legacy of nonstick pans is pretty bad. Many people still think about Teflon pans or coatings that come right off, but many modern nonstick cookware isn’t like this. Either the coatings are applied in modern ways to avoid chipping, or completely new materials are used that are just as convenient. That’s what we have here with Ninja Foodi Neverstick vs Greenlife Cookware.

Our Greenlife Cookware vs Ninja Foodi Neverstick review will compare these two based on temperature, material, build quality, whether they are oven and dishwasher safe, and then any other differences we can find.

Read on to see which of these new nonstick cookware sets is right for you.

Temperature

Just like with any other piece of cookware, both of these pots and pans sets have a maximum temperature that they can’t go beyond. Heating them up too much can lead to the cookware warping, the coating potentially coming off, or other problems.

As you may have seen in our other Ninja Neverstick reviews, the maximum temperature tends to be fairly high for most of these sets. But, how do these two compare?

There is quite a difference between them.

The Ninja Foodi Neverstick maximum temperature is 500°F. That’s quite good and allows you to get a deep, powerful sear on steaks and other proteins.

The Greenlife Cookware maximum temperature is 350°F. That’s a fair bit less than Ninja. We think a big reason for this isn’t the pan itself, but rather the handle. These pots and pans have always-cool handles made from a soft material, and the rating could be more for them than the cookware itself.

That being said, while both are fine, Ninja definitely wins this category. Let’s keep moving on to see if Ninja keeps winning, or if Greenlife can pick up the victory.

Greenlife Cookware vs Ninja Foodi Neverstick: Material

In this section we will compare the material that the cookware itself is made from along with the material of the nonstick coating. Both are different and they are worth devoting a whole section to each.

Cookware Material

On the surface level you might think these pans are the same as both Ninja Neverstick and Greenlife Pots and Pans are made from aluminum. However, how the aluminum is processed and sourced is very different.

Ninja aluminum is anodized and thick so that it’s very hard and durable. Not only that, but the bottom and upper rim are intentionally thicker to build greater heat while holding the heat. The edges are thinner to keep the cookware light and to disperse the heat evenly.

Greenlife pans also use aluminum, but this brand uses recycled aluminum that is eco friendly and properly sourced. As with most other pans, the thickness here is relatively the same throughout the whole pan. It may not have the same benefits as Ninja, but it’s still reliable.

If you prefer innovation, then Ninja is better here. If you want something that’s friendly for the planet, then Greenlife is better.

Nonstick Coating Material

Both of these are unique in how they approach the coating. Ninja takes a very modern approach by applying plasma ceramic particles at 30,000°F. This creates a permanent bond that prevents the coating from coming off, and it truly makes the coating nonstick even with the stickiest ingredients.

Greenlife pans once again take an eco-friendly approach. The coating here is ceramic that is made from sand, and it’s PFOA, PFAS, cadmium, and lead free. And of course, it is very nonstick, ingredients easily come off, and cleanup takes seconds.

Much like before, the better one depends on your perspective. Both are good. Ninja is more modern and will likely last longer, but Greenlife is environmentally friendly cookware.

Ninja Foodi Neverstick vs Greenlife Cookware: Build Quality

These are both premium nonstick cookware sets that are built to last, but which one is better? They take some different design philosophies and one might work out better for you.

Ninja pans Neverstick have riveted handles that are secure and will stay in place for many years. Greenlife on the other hand has a rivetless interior. This prevents food from collecting under the rivets (which can be impossible to clean).

The handles themselves are also different. Ninja uses longer handles that are easy to grip and hold. Greenlife uses stay-cool handles that are soft and easy to grab without burning yourself.

The lids are both tempered glass, which can withstand high temperatures. The Ninja Foodi lids have larger handles, just like with the pots and pans. Greenlife lid handles are round and uses the soft, stay-cool material to keep your hand safe.

As you can see, both are very good. Which is better? That all depends on your perspective and what you like better.
