Emeril Lagasse. The man who brought us BAM. The celebrity chef who topples all other celebrity chefs. He has leveraged his massive reputation to bring us the Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360. Can a celebrity chef really make a good air fryer? Does the Emeril air fryer oven actually deliver on all its promises? We’re going to dive deep and see how this stacks up.

There are currently two models available: Emeril Power Air Fryer 360 and Emeril Power Air Fryer XL (Family Size). Though there are many similarities, there are some differences. Thus, we’ll be talking about both of them.

Features

Both Emeril air fryer ovens have the same features when it comes to settings and options. These are 9-in-1 air fryers with 12 different preset options to choose from. Emeril Lagasse made sure these air fryers were easy to use. The interface makes it simple. Just choose the option, set the time and temp, and wait to get crispy, delicious food.

You know it’s an air fryer, but what else can the Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360 do? It can reheat food, toast, roast, broil, toast bagels, bake, rotisserie, dehydrate, cook pizza, slow cook, and warm food. That’s a lot of features. Plus, it does it all with five heating elements. This ensures fast, even cooking for all your meals. Whether you’re making air fryer chicken breast or anything else, it cooks it fast and delicious.

This is billed as an oven replacement and it’s hard to argue with the logic. This has lots of features, is quite large (as we’ll cover later), and heats up almost instantly to a maximum temperature of 400 degrees. From meats and veggies to toast and dehydrating, our Emeril Power Air Fryer 360 review found that you can cook almost everything.

What Can it Cook?

This is basically a mini oven, so the best question is what can’t it cook? In all honestly, this can make nearly anything you can think of. If you look at the preset options, then you can easily make pizza, chicken, bagels, chicken tenders (or anything breaded), steak, and more.

It’s important to know that you can manually change the time and temperature. If a preset is too hot or cold for your meal, then ditch the preset and use the knobs to make some adjustments. Again, this is a tiny oven. Use it like one.

If you can make it in your oven, then you can probably make it with the Emeril air fryer. Be sure to check the recipe book for more details and great recipe suggestions.

What About the Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360 Plus?

You may have noticed that we said there’s only two currently models. The Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360 Plus was another model, but it’s an older one and isn’t really sold anymore. It’s very similar to the standard Power 360 air fryer. However, if you’d like to see it regardless, here it is:

Emeril Air Fryer Plus

Size

Whether space is at a premium or you want to cook as much as possible, there are two different models to choose from. Size is the biggest difference between them. While the appliance size as a whole isn’t all that drastic, the cooking area difference is very large.

The overall sizes are:

  • Emeril Power Air Fryer 360: 15.1” x 19.3” x 10.4”
  • Emeril Power Air Fryer 360 XL Family Size: 15.6” x 19.7” x 13”

That really doesn’t seem like a big difference, does it? A half an inch here, a few inches there, nothing too major. However, these small changes make a huge difference with the available cooking space. That’s because all of these increases are in the oven area.

The standard size offers 930 cubic inches of cooking space. Now that’s respectable and lets you rotisserie a 10lb chicken. The XL though doubles that to 1,830 cubic inches. That’s enough room for a 14lb turkey.

Both are good for families, but the standard size is better for a couple or small family while the XL is perfect for larger families (or those who like meal prepping, cook once and have food the whole week).

Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360 XL

Power

Here’s another area where the Emeril air fryers differ. Though not quite as extreme as the size difference, these models operate at different wattages. That means one will cook your food slightly faster than the other and is better for denser ingredients (like steak or frozen items).

The standard Emeril Lagasse Power AirFryer 360 operates at 1500W while the Power AirFryer 360 XL operates at 1800W. A higher wattage allows the XL to reach its intended temperature faster, and it cooks food somewhat faster as well. However, 1500W is more than enough for most meals.

This is a matter of preference. Both are quite functional. The XL is more powerful (not a huge surprise), but the 300W difference isn’t a game changer. If you’re looking for another strong 1800W air fryer oven, consider checking out the NuWave Bravo XL.

Accessories

What accessories come with the Emeril Power Air Fryer 360? That’s a good question. The best air fryer needs some accessories. This makes it easier to use the fryer, and it keeps you from having to buy pans, trays, etc just to make the fryer useful. So, what do you get with this fryer?

The accessory kit includes:

  • Crisper Tray
  • Pizza Rack (but feel free to use it for more than just pizza)
  • Rotisserie Spit
  • Baking Pan
  • Drip Tray
  • Emeril Recipe Book

That’s pretty good. Not only that, but there are several positions for the accessories, so you can use both the crisper tray and baking pan simultaneously to quickly finish your meal. We always suggest using the drip tray when possible to collect fat and drippings. It makes cleaning up much easier when you’re finished.

Final Verdict

So, is the Emeril Power Air Fryer 360 any good? We think so. It can cook almost anything you can think of, comes with plenty of accessories, heats up within a few minutes, can fit a whole bird (10lb chicken or 14lb turkey depending on the model), and replaces 9 appliances.

Honestly, it’s hard to find better. There are many other air fryer ovens that rival this one, we covered them in our article about The Best Air Fryer Ovens, but this is a strong contender for one of the best models out there.

If you’re in the market for an air fryer, oven replacement, or just want a great kitchen appliance to add to your collection, our Emeril Lagasse Power Air Fryer 360 review found this to be a wonderful air fryer for your kitchen.
