We covered the best air fryer ovens before, but we figured it’d be a good idea to break them down even further and really get into how each model compares. Today we’re going to look at Emeril vs Instant Pot air fryer ovens to see which one is best.

Just like with air fryers and most electric pressure cookers, air fryer ovens have lots of functions. These allow you to cook a variety of meals with the least amount of effort. For example, instead of checking the best time and temperature for pizza, simply push the “Pizza” button and the Emeril or Instant Omni oven will do the work for you.
Easy enough, right?
In terms of functions, these two had the most of the four brands we tested, but which one has more? Better yet, which one has better functions? Let’s compare them.

Both lists are so long you might have a hard time differentiating them, and we can’t blame you. When it comes to Emeril vs Instant Omni, we found that Emeril had one extra function overall. However, in terms of Instant Omni vs Emeril, it seemed that this oven had more interesting functions, such as proof and convection cooking.
It’s hard to give a definite winner here. Emeril includes one extra cooking function while the Instant Pot toaster oven functions are a little better. We’d call this a tie with a slight lead to Instant Pot, but not a huge one.

Instant Pot vs Emeril: Capacity
You want your air fryer oven to have good capacity. That should go without saying, but many people don’t think about it too much. The oven looks big enough, so it should be fine, right? Looks can be deceiving. Some ovens are much smaller than they look.
We were surprised to see that the capacity of both Instant Omni Plus and Emeril 360 Oven were largely the same. Both of them fit 6 burgers or slices of bread, 10lb chickens, 12” pizzas, and 3 halved bagels.
So, are there any differences in capacity?
We found that Instant Omni Plus was a tiny bit taller, so it had an easier time with rotisserie cooking. The Emeril air fryer is a little shorter, which means that larger chickens or cuts of meat might get stuck now and then.
That tiny difference aside, they are largely the same. You might think that Instant Pot Omni Plus wins this battle, but the difference is so slight that we can’t call it a true win. We’d consider this more of a tie.

Power
An air fryer oven should be powerful. It’s already smaller than a traditional oven, so it needs enough power to properly heat food while also maintaining heat. Think of it this way. Weak air fryers tend to lose heat quickly (especially when you load cold food), and they take forever to reach their intended temperature. An air fryer oven should be faster than a regular oven, so it needs enough power to do that.
We would say that the absolute minimum you should consider is 1200W, and that’s pretty low. You deserve something better, and that’s exactly what you get with this.
The Emeril air fryer oven stands at 1500W, which is really amazing. If you read our review of PowerXL vs Emeril air fryers, then you’ll know that PowerXL air fryer was the same. However, Emeril has a trick up his sleeve. This oven air fryer has five heating elements, which ensures fast and even heating.
However, we think that the air fryer oven Instant Pot wins this section. It clocks in at a tremendous 1800W. Your kitchen oven better watch its back, cause Instant Omni Plus is here to take over. This allows the Instant Pot oven to heat very quickly and to maintain its temperature even if you load lots of frozen food.
Both really are exceptional, especially compared to that 1200W minimum we set early in the section. But, it should be obvious who the real winner is. Instant Omni is significantly stronger. At the same time, Emeril is no slouch and the Power AirFryer 360 Emeril Lagasse is a strong air fryer oven worthy of your time.
Accessories
Some kitchen appliances don’t need that many accessories, but we would say that they’re really essential with oven air fryers (or any oven to be honest). Just like your regular oven, these come with slots for racks and trays. However, what would happen if your oven didn’t come with those racks?
You’d be forced to buy them separately, or resign yourself to just cooking on a single level of the oven (which isn’t good, safe, or sanitary).
Due to that, we would argue that these accessories are really required with these appliances. Not only that, but a good accessory package makes the model more useful overall. So, let’s see how they compare.

They are very similar, so who wins with the Instant Pot Omni vs Emeril accessories? We would give the win to Emeril here. Yes, it has more accessories, but that’s not the real reason. The accessories are more balanced. You get a drip tray along with crisper and pizza racks. This makes it easier to cook larger meals.
Don’t get us wrong, the Instant Pot accessories are good as well, but we don’t think you’re getting quite as many extras as you are with Emeril.

Control Panel
The control panel allows you to set the function, change time and temp, and do everything else you need to do. The control panel should be easy to understand, simple to use, and ensure you get perfect results every time.
So, how do the control panels compare?
Both Instant Pot and Emeril ovens use a combination of dials and buttons. Emeril uses one dial for time, another for temp, one for the functions, and then a few buttons to control things like starting and stopping.
Instant Pot uses a dial for both time and temp (a button allows you to change between them) and another one for presets. It then has dedicated buttons for every cooking function, and we really like this. Instead of going through a menu and possibly missing the function you want, simply push the button and move on. Plus, Instant Omni looks like a real miniature oven, and we love that.
Both control panels are simple to use. We love how Instant Pot’s looks and it was more accurate, but we don’t think anyone will really struggle with either.
If you find yourself having difficulty with new appliances, then Instant Omni might be a little better because the control panel is larger and more straightforward. Otherwise, both are fine.

What is the Difference Between Emeril and Instant Pot Air Fryer Ovens?
Curious about the differences between Instant Pot and Emeril air fryer ovens? At first glance, these two are very similar. Both are highly functional, superior mini ovens that are able to cook a variety of meals. While we struggled to find major differences between them, there are a few we need to highlight here.
When it comes to Emeril, it has one more cooking function, much better accessories, and the five heating elements are great.
In terms of Instant Pot Omni oven, it has much more power, a superior control panel, and one of the best designs we’ve ever seen.

Final Thoughts
If we had to choose one here with Instant Pot air fryers vs Emeril air fryers, then we’d go with Instant Pot. While Emeril technically has one more cooking function, Instant Pot’s were more useful overall. Plus, we love how it looks and the extra power was amazing. That being said, Emeril does have better accessories and is a wonderful air fryer oven in its own regard.
