Vitamix is known for its metal couplings and drive system. Ninja uses a plastic-on-plastic system that pushes the price down, but the all-metal system is stronger and lasts longer. You can expect Vitamix to last longer and have an easier time powering through hard foods.
Cons
One of the worst things about a premium product is the premium price tag. While Ninja has a good amount of power at a reasonable price tag, Vitamix is one of the most expensive brands out there. It’s perfect if you prize power over everything else, but be prepared to spend some serious cash.
Vitamix blenders are not easy to clean. Ninja is exceptionally easy because you can remove the blade. Most Vitamix models don’t allow you to remove the blades. Many users find the easiest way to clean a Vitamix blender is to pour warm water and soap into the blending jar and then blending for about 10 seconds to mix everything and dislodge particles.
